NATURE AND NATURAL
All things from the natural world of which most of have long considered ourselves seperate. This will prove us wrong. Above is Jack the hummingbird. I found him homeless in downtown Los Angeles’ Pershing Square. On a cold, late Saturday night, walking with my dog, I spotted him sitting alone on a low wall. Defiant and determined, he puffed up as I approached his little body, no bigger than quarter. Perhaps because he was so cold, or maybe because he took on more than he could handle, he let me scoop him up into my hand and he stayed a night with me. He had quite a story.
